We are a full service agency, working with individuals and groups. We offer a comprehensive approach that puts our clients first. Our service is dedicated to offering our clients the best products through value added financial planning services.
After my name are several professional designations. The first, the LUTCF is a fellowship from the American College in the Life Underwriting Training Council. Like all professional designations, it requires study in the disciplines of the field, passing a series of proctored course exams, and annual Continuing Education credits. The American College is the educational arm of the financial services industry, awarding the well-known CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation, among others. Concurrent with the professional designation is membership in the NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors). I also teach other insurance agents for the college, recently administering the Essentials of Long Term Care course for the college. The website for the American College and the LUTCF program is attached. http://www.theamericancollege.edu/Prospective_Students/Designations/lutcf.asp
The CLTC designation is conferred by the Corporation for Long Term Care Certification. The course is designed and taught by Harley Gordon, the former President of the Elder Law Attorneys Association of America, and consists of a rigorous multidisciplinary course that focuses on the profession of long term care, not insurance products. The course is endorsed by not only the College for Financial Planning, but all the major long term care carriers, and the American Association on Aging. The program is also recognized by state legislators, through the granting of continuing education credits. The website for the CLTC program is attached.

The CSA designation is membership in the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. The Society focuses on issues associated with aging, and I spend a significant part of my practice with individuals age 55 and above. The CSA is conferred after a 3-day course, and like the other designations, passing a proctored exam. The CSA must also be kept current with continuing education and voluntary work in the senior community. The website for the CSA program is attached. http://www.society-csa.com/
I believe education, and keeping current in my field is of utmost importance. I carry that belief into my dealings with the carriers I work with, attending, on average, two seminars per month, to keep abreast of what is new in products, legislation and the client base I serve. I work with businesses and individuals, and believe I work with the most innovative, highly rated and competitive carriers in the industry. On a personal note, I am married to my partner, Theresa Homan, for 18 years, with two sons, Joshua 16 and Sean 12. I am active in our community, coaching basketball and working with the Boy Scouts (both boys are scouts). I appreciate the opportunity to meet with you and to help educate you on these tremendous products that protect your life, family, health, income, and future.
